Implementing Change

As the founder of Rebuilding Lives Workshop, Inc. I am motivated and dedicated to serving the community by restoring individuals mentally, physically, and emotionally. We are always looking for volunteers to help us function in our office duties, such as receptionist. We are also needing the people of our community to continuously provide supplies for our offices, such as copy paper, stamps, play therapy supplies, art and sand tray, and ink. If you are interested in becoming a contributor on a yearly, monthly, or weekly basis please visit our donations page. Our services are free to the public and all people. If you are willing to change we are willing to help you. We do ask our clients to consider giving donations as they use our services and often they are our biggest supporters.

Certified Anger Management Specialist

We refer our client's out to an anger management specialist who uses the following format:

Choice-Based Anger Control

Choice Based Anger Control is based on the simple assumption that anger is a choice—and we choose our response to any person or situation.   We subscribe to the idea that Choices Made Repetitiously Become Habits.  This means that you have made the same choices over and over until your behavior is automatic or habitual.  The operative word is "choice." Webster’s Dictionary defines "choice" as the act of selecting; the power of choosing or that we have options.  In essence, whenever you become angry, you have a menu of options available to you about how you manage and cope with your anger.  You can choose to be explosive or calm.    The Power of Choice is always yours.   Choice is the ultimate freedom.

Choice-based Anger Control is designed to empower you to take control of your life by developing strategies and techniques to calm the anger within.   Choice-based Anger Control is based on a simple philosophy: “Our lives are the sum total of our choices and actions.”  As human beings, our total existence is determined by the daily choices we make—in essence we choose our way through life.  We are responsible for choosing the direction, meaning, and purpose for our lives.  Choice-based Anger Control’s premise is that a transformed mind leads to a transformed life.  In essence, anger control is about transforming our lives by our choices and actions and developing the skills for making quality choices that lead to positive personal growth and development.

We have anger management programs for teens, adults and the workplace.
